Great brand recognition and compensation. Too much red tape to get some processes done, even for simple days off. Good work-life balance and benefits. Tough sales success in SMB accounts but better in large or enterprise accounts.

Great place if you want to be a consultant. Not a sales environment. Main plus is MSAs with every enterprise. Base salaries are above market.

My overall experience was good? Seems to me like our base pay was pretty competitive, but it was very difficult for our group at IBM to be successful. MVS is at the bottom of the priority list.

I am with IBM Consulting. While the brand name speaks for itself, the sales operations are some of the worst in the market, especially among enterprise level tech companies. There is very little focus and support from leadership on campaigning and focusing on new clients/opportunities.
