if you’ve worked for a big tech company before, understand how to sell martech, and are a best-in-class BDR and a high volume closer, you could make it to the 9 month mark if you get lucky with a good manager and a good book.

Would not recommend at this time.

Tbh, you can succeed here, but be prepared to grind out your days trying to squeeze $200 MRR deals out of prospects who are evaluating competitors that are 1/2 of the cost.
Only way to succeed in SMB - I mean this unironically- is to close deals hat 100% belong in the MM vertical but are misassigned

If you want a decent 9 month ramp paycheck it’s fine.  Be prepared to get hammered on how much outreach you do, the specific wording on your outreach.  You will be grilled on every word and phrase you utter on calls with prospects.  And no one in SMB can afford out offering.

Great sales school but dog eat dog. If you are happy to be micromanaged, work 12+hour days, occasionally 6 day weeks and are stuck for a job go for it, but understand the mental health cost.

Most new people nowadays don’t last 12 months so how beneficial the logo on your cv is, is debatable.

Just don’t do it to yourself trust me. I know it seems tempting because of the name but it’s truly not worth it. I can’t see how a new hire makes it past the 6-12 month mark here.

Just take it for what it is. Do not go in with the expectation of HubSpot's reputation from 2+ years ago. If you need the gig, take it. If you have options, weigh them.

I could not even make it to the three month mark and have been in tech for 6 years. Worst role I have ever had. The stress, burnout, micro management, some days are full of internal meetings. 15% of people on ramp were hitting quota. Not worth it!
