HashiCorp
Back to ReviewsFormer Employee *Frequent shuffling of account lists created a challenging environment to build customer rapport and actually sell.
*Manager was absolutely not a leader.
*Only advice they offered was "read XYZ book" for coaching and then "read ABC book" for developing a rep
*Everyone on our team was afraid of the manager. This manager held grudges.
*Manager has never "sold" at HashiCorp and thinks that the same tactics that worked elsewhere will work at HC but that isn't the case.
*Manager has a constant target on someone and has repeatedly driven out very successful reps (including ones that were far exceeding their quota and selling millions of dollars there every year for 5+yrs).
*After successfully getting rid of the original reps on this manager's team (ie: the reps the manager inherited) the manager stood up and CLAPPED & CHEERED at a QBR in front of the rest of us (20+ people: new reps and extended support teams) because they were so proud of themselves for driving those reps off.
*Myself and teammates became very close with each other due to a "misery loves company" situation.
HashiCorp was, at one time, a great place. This manager definitely ruined that feeling. Browse Other Reviews
