Back to ReviewsFormer Employee My experience at Guideline was disappointing. Initially, I felt love-bombed by both management and senior management, who projected a carefree and positive vibe. However, this approach led to significant communication issues. I was terminated without warning for sending emails to prospects that I had crafted independently—a rule my peers and I were unaware of.
At the time of my termination, I was the top performer on the leaderboard and had been asked to participate in a special project just the day before. This situation could have been easily avoided with clearer communication. A simple warning such as, "Please consult with a manager before sending emails; failure to do so could result in immediate termination. We genuinely care about you and your well-being," would have sufficed.
During my eight-month tenure, both SDR managers were on maternity/paternity leave and appeared spread too thin. It seemed as though they were more focused on creating a façade of a great culture rather than genuinely communicating and engaging with their employees. Browse Other Reviews
