GitHub is an awesome company with great people. Our benefits are the best. Anyone can say this about any company, but it was a better company, both in terms of culture and opportunity >3 years ago. Microsoft is looming. They always have been but you can feel them encroaching more and more each quarter. Minimal inbound leads and a hugely uneven balance of opportunity in our org. Success and ability to hit quota is really team-dependent.

My overall experience is great as a SE. Team works together really well to make sure everyone is up to speed and feels supported. Recently reps have struggled to make quota but overall comp for SEs has been close to OTE.
