Good company, decent product, a lot of smart people. Problem is it’s impossible to quantify, stars must align for big deals to go through and the compensation for closing deals is severely lacking. You will spend more time servicing existing accounts/license holders than selling to new ones. Gartner also is a big micro management shop.

Excellent company with a lot of growth opportunity. Market fit is great, however, the current economic climate has impacted close rates because competition has a much lower price point.

The rules of engagement for different verticals were very unclear. Lost about 8 opportunities in 2 quarters to other verticals even though the companies were initially aligned to me in the system.
