Interviewing for role w/8 accounts, 900k spend, 1.2 mil target. Typical  retention 89% so would need 400k in growth annually across 8 accounts. 60% ent AEs achieve quota. I'm very tempted if offered, do the attainment numbers seem true? is 400k in growth on 8 accounts attainable? that part scares me

Most people hit quota from my experience.
With that being said, sometimes you get a bad book of business and have a customer take down, it can be hard to recover from a cancellation hit.

They are still great about being understanding and giving you all of the support and tools you need to hit it.

Do you know which product you’re selling? (Finance , hr , it etc?) some have more growth overall and they’re less saturated. Generally speaking Gartner is fair in OTE and quota setting but I’d ask about that in your interview or negotiations. It is likely attainable!

It's possible but only 10-20% of AEs are hitting $400k+ in growth revenue.  A lot depends on your territory and not having any cancels by your accounts.  $200-250k growth is much more likely.

What practice and is it large enterprise? That sounds highly inflated and unrealistic. Maybe 1-2 teams are hitting that, but I would be concerned

What product? (Marketing? Hr? Supply chain? IT?) that may inform. Generally speaking it should be attainable but certain products are more in start up mode with more growth opportunity.

Depends on the division. That would only be 50K in growth per account. That seems very reasonable to me… especially cause in my BU 1 Conference sponsorship is a minimum of 50K.

Depends on the vertical.

That said, I grew 2 accounts by +200K (each) while only having 8 accounts. My first year in role and hit winners circle of a small kicker.

My experience was on the government side. If it’s a fed role, I would consider that borderline impossible, especially now.
