Anyone knows if the Supply Chain function at Gartner is doing well? Interviewing for a AE role and like to hear more if it’s worth joining.

Ask about attrition. Ask about the accounts you will be receiving. Ask about when the accounts are renewing. AK how long your manager has been in the position. There are pockets of supply chain that do well, and others that do horribly.

Supply chain is the most mature GBS Bu.
It’s good, and has grown alot.
The issues I’m hearing are around growing pains, and not having enough advisors to support requests etc etc. 
there could be some covid business that might be churning, so get an idea of the accounts you are getting

Lots of AEs from GTS (Gartner’s bread-and-butter biz unit) moving over to Supply Chain.

SC has been the best-performing practice for the past 5-6 years. Some market slowdown with covid hangover, but a solidly built practice that still has upside. (current sales manager in marketing practice)

For the last five years or so, supply chain has been ranked top 1 or 2. I do believe Covid was a major factor. With that being said, supply chain, still continues to perform well. Candidly, all of the divisions are struggling a little bit right now, but supply chain is still performing the others.

Supply Chain is struggling with retention right now, and growth has been both rare and a grind.  On the bright side, we took massive hits on renewals this past year, so you might get a couple of accounts you can win back. More hits are projected for clients renewing this year though.
