Overall pay structure is not good, Dell inside reps are categorically under compensated. The pay structure is also not clear, it is difficult to determine how much commission is expected per sale. Company culture is positive, co-workers keep most people from leaving. DEI is strong, reps feel like they have a voice with local mgmt, executives operate in the ivory tower as is common at many large companies. Further workforce reductions and comp plan changes continue to negatively affect morale with direct sellers.

Overall Dell was an okay place to work, but unfortunately too many extremes. Management and leadership is either amazing or non-existent/extremely poor. Targets can be achievable but will be flipped the next half to be entirely unachievable. Either lots of opportunity to move and progress or none at all.
