I came from a SaaS environment to Dell and struggled selling hardware (laptops, monitors, keyboards, mice, servers, storage, etc.). Most of my customers were school districts and public orgs who got "oversold" during the pandemic. It wasn't a good fit for me.

My overall experience was very positive. Was top performer overcast 5 years, but was rewarded with layoff. Market shifted last year and made things significantly tougher, but still managed to hit and exceed quotas in most reporting periods.
