Quotas are next to impossible to attain unless your manager is giving you their old customers. You will not make 6 figures working at dell. But you may win a popularity contest!
If you’re fresh out of college, the goal is to get promoted in the first year. If you don’t, you will most likely be put on a performance plan, and offered a severance to leave. That’s why your manager needs to like you.
