My overall experience here was pretty good. The clients and people were both good. The main issue was that the compensation wasn’t great and there was no incentive to be exceptional. You were actually punished for exceeding quotas because then your quota would just go up, making it unattainable. It was also extremely difficult to get promoted or move departments.

Dell's margin worship properly dismantled a great sales org, leadership has an identity crisis and frequent strategy changes make it difficult to believe in the vision.
