The main issue was that the compensation wasn’t great and there was no incentive to be exceptional. You were actually punished for exceeding quotas because then your quota would just go up, making it unattainable. It was also extremely difficult to get promoted or move departments.

Former Employee3.3Jul 25, 2024I loved working at Dell! It set my career up for success, however I did not like working for a company of that size as I felt like I was treated more like a number than a rep. In the end I departed due to layoffs.

Former Employee2.1Jan 29, 2025All of the SDR's cheat in the Austin office. It is the only way to hit your metrics because of it's demand, with little resources. The NGSA program is flawed now, with higher management overlooking the cheating on purpose because it makes them look good when reporting to the higher leadership with their sales numbers. Overall, very flawed program.
