Not Setup for Success:
5% of reps hit quota
No inbound/SDR support
Small territories( 80/90 accounts)
75% of accounts unsellable (tech, state of business, industry etc)
Managers hijack deals w/ no context and play a numbers game end of month/quarter
Lack of Opportunity:
Top reps denied promos
Promo cycles only 2x/yr (hit promo req. outside window, hit the reset button)
Frat/Boys club connects for who gets promoted
-Hire SDRs w/ no selling exp from outside as AE’s before promoting internally
-MM externals valued over internal talent
Comp Plan:
-Lowest AE base+OTE in industry
-Constant fine print commission rules reduce pay
-Laughable promo rate increases
-External paid more than internal promos, more ramp time/money
