DDOG is a company with some of the most extensive training and commitment to development I've ever seen. As far as a training ground for complex enterprise deals cycle, the programs team is top notch. Conversely, only 18% of enterprise reps actually hit quota and leadership leaves a lot to be desired. Territories are incredibly unequal despite a commitment to the otherwise. In my experience, leadership is unwilling to acknowledge this or work toward equal opportunity. Additionally, I left a good territory for what was presented to me as an excellent territory at DDOG. That's partially on me for not digging in enough but it felt very misleading once I got into territory and again - leadership is unwilling to accept any of the blame for underperformance.

Definitely a company to work for with steep learning curve, great leadership, a lot of development opportunities. But base is quite low, commission as well and reps are not hitting quota.
