An obvious example of a company that is trying to address fast growth by over-hiring massive amounts of AEs. Databricks has completely changed their go to market motion while making no change to the support team needed to make this new motion successful. Comp plans are unattainable and confusing. Leadership has acknowledged this but made no meaningful change. I imagine there will be quite a bit of attrition at the end of this fiscal year.

Incentives are there, but quotas are nearly impossible to hit, and there's a significant culture of micromanagement at all levels, including enterprise sales—tracking metrics like the number of emails, calls, and meetings.
