Overall good experience for exposure to the tech industry and resume building. Good benefits and cool culture. Downsides: - BDR to AE path does NOT exist (exact words from management) - Standard promotion flow is BDR -> AM -> AE. But the list of BDR's waiting to get promoted even to AM is PLENTIFUL. My time at Contentful was interesting. Poor sales leadership, coupled with unaware ELT to market demands, led to desperate sales team. The quotas were unattainable based on existing leads/prior year's sales. VP's "plan" to increase leads was laughable. It was the worst-run sales org I've ever seen.
