My time at Contentful was interesting. Poor sales leadership, coupled with unaware ELT to market demands, led to desperate sales team. The quotas were unattainable based on existing leads/prior year's sales. VP's "plan" to increase leads was laughable. It was the worst-run sales org I've ever seen.

Unachievable goals. The market differentiators are slowly waning and the market is saturated with smaller cheaper options.

Overall quite negative, the new leadership that has been brought in is very unlikeable and the territories are increasingly slim. Success is not fairly distributed and the product is losing momentum in the market. Leadership refuse to acknowledge poor analyst reports and turn a blind eye to negative news.
