Excellent PMF, fast paced environment however it can be complex to navigate. CEO and eStaff are strong. Regional management are more sales focused than regional stewards of the business which creates some misaligned incentives. Overall i would be positive about joining Confluent, the TAM is real, the customer demand is strong and the product serves mission critical use cases. Like any company there are challenges yet IMO its better than most out there.

Confluent was a great place to sell until the Oracle Direct crew ascended into power and the cronyism went rampant. High quality and experienced leaders still exist in the regulated/financial services space, but top-down you can expect an Oracle like culture.
