Private equity ruined this company and what's worse, Certinia is the only portfolio company at Haveli (PE firm). Haveli is extremely hands on cutting costs and setting unrealistic sales quotas. Sales Ops drive decisions with no regard for what is good for employees or customers. Less than 20% of sellers hit quota. Good product. Great people. Horrible leadership.

The people at Certinia are amazing and so are most of the managers. This is why I stay. People used to make way more money when comp plans were better, around 2019 or so. Now, leadership and sales operations do not seem to understand that in mid market here, the average sales rep for net new business only closes about 2 net new logos. Average product Good teammates and first line sales leadership Absolutely clueless and incompetent executives and owners Worst of the bunch is Sales Ops Cannot design territories quotas to save their lives PE owners parachute in to put pour gasoline on a dumpster fire Run in the other direction
