My role in the channel has been a unique one as I was the first "Channel development Rep" hired at the company, so there were a lot of changes in my tenure. New business does not achieve its targets. Very hard to sell to new customers as you're competing against free MS. Very long sales cycles, 18 months from beginning to end.

My direct manager was great, and very engaged with the team. Sales targets for a new logo rep are unobtainable. Really great culture at the organization as well.
