BambooHR is great. Definitely not your typical flashy tech company, but it’s got it where it counts. Great product, great reputation in the industry, zero cold calling for AE’s (all my opps come from SDR sets), customer support and implementation are top notch, leadership is in touch with reality and has realistic expectations, culture is great, and Bamboo has some good benefits/perks (annual vacation budget, cheap insurance premiums, etc.). The biggest complaint is the lower-than-average base salaries. Commission and accelerators are good though and quota is definitely achievable (so OTE is realistic). I took a significant cut to my base to come to Bamboo, but I’m way less stressed and more successful here, and actually making similar money because of the commission accelerators.

Culture is immature, felt like grade school vs a professional environment. Shortsighted GTM strategy and weak product offering. Notoriously low comp.
