Blurry. Leadership increases goals while providing no additional resources/training. Lost a lot of good reps due to bad territory changes and management bias.

Being owned by Vista is never good for the employees or customers. Avalara is a neutral place to work but will continue to gradually get worse as private equity looks for more ways to increase profitability by increasing customer prices while looking for ways to suppress employee wages (e.g. no raises and making comp plan worse).

What is the midmarket customer account management team like? Are they seeing similar changes as the enterprise team? (ie new quotas, new # of accts, new title change, etc)

I’ve heard lots of changes for the AE, Existing Sales role (previously customer account manager). What percentage of enterprise reps in this space are hiring their quota? What are some common challenges in this role? & what are the benefits of being specifically in this space?
