Leadership keep changing, this year alone we had 3 CROs. Message to the market is confusing and varies every 2 quarters. The product is great but the company has very little capabilities to market it properly, pricing structure is favorable only to very large deals, starting with Appian for a new customer is overly expensive. Leads are non-existant.

Go-to-market strategy is focussed on encouraging customers to build their own solutions on the platform and the product is premium priced. Most multipliers from last year’s comp plan were eliminated or dramatically reduced with no comparable incentives added.
