Interesting product, but leadership has been terrible the past 4 years. Currently going through a ton of organizational change. If you want a healthy structure and learning environment as an AE, stay away.

Appian has a great product and culture but sales targets are not reasonable which has lead to attrition and poor moral

Mass layoffs of the sales team in July 2024, including the entire SDR org and mid-market team. They also cut RVPs who were great performers in the name of “flattening the org structure.” There is still a lot of pipeline but morale is low.
