Great product with founders still close to the business. Company operates in highly competitive space where it's top of the rank, at the same time event-based pricing model is considered by many larger customers as a limiting factor for sustainable growth. Product needs strong champions who drive cultural change and adoption otherwise significant churn risk. Executive leadership is solid. Local leadership is weak for some regions, do your research before deciding to join.

Disorganized, bad leadership. Senior leadership was replaced by MSFT leaders who are clueless about how to operate a start-up. Amplitude was a great place to work. It no longer is. New leadership has come in and changed culture, territories and compensation plans. New leadership is aggressive, lead based from a place of fear, are unqualified, and disingenuous. Culture is no longer welcoming and top performers are leaving each week.
