SMB is a disaster. Leadership has no experience actually selling in this space and is so disconnected from the actual day to day realities. If I were to do it over I’d only go for Enterprise roles, trust me.

AWS is an excellent organization to work for. It is a fast paced environment, where employees are expected to have a customer obsessed approach to solving business objectives.

AWS has a lot of ups and downs. Its a great place to build a career, great money, great product and on the forefront of all innovation. Leadership leaves lot to be desired and the CSC is not well run or a good organization.

The experience at AWS is less about driving deals and more about driving visibility. Much of the solutioning is left to partners and leadership is less interested in pipeline than Executive Engagement.
