Reviewing an Enterprise Field Seller role for 'install' accounts. AWS has been a good place to work the past 5+ years. Lots of talent, bright minds and hard workers. In 2024 there was a re-org and territories are no longer geo-based. Quota was set too high, a majority of spifs were removed and genAI was over indexed. I was there for nearly 5 years within their specialist organization. It was great until the last year or so and our team got stuck with a leader who didn’t know what he was doing. He was very corporate with horrible reviews from the people whom he managed. AWS can be great place to work when you have good leadership
