I've enjoyed my time at Acquia - it is a company in transition following a reorg and they are constantly making acquisitions. They do well with transparency and everyone there tends to feel good about the work they do.

Acquia is a dying company being bled out by Vista Equity. It's sad to see how far downhill things have gone. In Oct 2024 another massive layoff hit, affecting a huge majority of presales and sales staff (over 20% of entire company). Acquia is a mature organization wrapped up in a startup body. Things can be hectic, but ultimately people are nice and easy to work with.

My overall experience has been very positive, but like any job, it is really based around the leadership directly above you and the layers above me are great!
