Is ADP known for layoffs or putting reps on PIP's?

Former employee here. They’re publicly traded so layoffs are not common. I’ve seen several former colleagues put on undeserved PIP’s in comp services. I worked there for a little over a year and saw 4 PIPs issued to different people. It’s how they push you out instead of “layoffs”.  avoid that BU.

Not so much on layoffs but they do love to PIP reps to get rid of them. My team was left without a direct supervisor for a YEAR! 75% of the team was PIP’ed and let go in 3 months.

There is no formality at ADP. They hand out PIP’s like it’s candy. They’d have to pay severance with a layofff, and they’re so cheap that they overuse PIP’s to push people out,

I was there for 5 years in Mid Market and UpMarket - never saw any layoffs, but people from my team were definitely put on PiPs.  They give you about 6 months of ramp-up time and then you're expected to hit your quota.  If your SE and VP like you, you may get a bit longer.

If you are referring to account executive (district manager) roles specifically, there are not a ton of company wide layoffs. However you may get out on a PIP if 3-4 months under plan after your first 6-8 months in role. Each business unit has different boundaries. Performance KPIs impact that too

Sbs rep here. You get put on a PIP after missing plan 3 months in a row. Not really sure what the PIP consists of but I know your activity starts to be monitored pretty closely. Haven’t seen anyone lose their job over consistently not hitting plan though at least not in Sbs.
