I generally like my role and my team, but Infor has been removing field reps and adding the responsibilities to the inside account managers but refusing to give pay raises for the added account ownership because they’re trying to cut cost

Complex org, lots of middle management, slow deal desk, bad internal CRM that has been on the way out for 10 years, slow deal cycles with heavy competition, CloudSuite is gaining traction in some industries/markets but still early stages, slow promotions, comp has been slowed, and much more.

My overall experience was that I had fun with my team, but there was no chance in succeeding in the role. There was one RFQ a year and no inbound assistance.

Solid product suite and very good training. Good benefits. Good life work balance. Constant territory changes. Lots of favoritism. Terminations and promotions didn't align with results. Leadership was often overaggressive for the sake of quarterly quotas and customers knew to expect massive prices drops and extorted it at cost to the salesperson.
