After some strategic purchases and R&D the company was in the process of rolling out a new Enterprise Tech Stack, though the public availability was pushed several times. After I started they pivoted and changed their GTM strategy and how they would sell the new solutions. The new GTM teams never got traction and after 6 months my team and several team were let go.

Overall, Genesys has been a good company, but unfortunately that is changing. They have been a dominant leader in the space, but seem to be losing traction with pivoting product platforms.

Great product that is a top player in the category of contact centers. Impacted by toxic and poorly aligned leadership. The current Ivory tower mindset has put the company on the back foot for long term growth potential, which is felt by the liquidity event style tactics currently being deployed.
