Darktrace has improved drastically within the last two years and with the recent acquisition by Thoma Bravo, there's tremendous upside. With that being said, still a ways to go on building and fostering a winning and collaborative culture.

Generally the experience has been positive. However, in June 2023 there were significant compensation changes as well as a shift in the GTM strategy. This has significantly reduced the earning potential for BDEs and has made achieving targets more challenging. The training is good and it has been a really good place to build foundational sales skills.

While I’ll be forever grateful that Darktrace gave me my first sales opportunity, you are at the end of the day a number to them. Far more fail in this role then succeed. The top earners make up less then 5% of the company while the majority are barely scraping by. If you work in a competitive region good luck making quota without a channel partner.
