Overall, clear channel was a bad experience for me. 35k base salary is abysmal for an AE position - that being for a company that barely had any inbound traffic, or new accounts to be built. Everything, has been ran to the ground by other AE’s and accounts given to you are not worth the time. Was sent out to “prospect” competitors billboards around my city, on my own dime. - when I asked to use the company card for some gas I was laughed at and told to never ask that question again. The training they provided as a brain dead 2 weeks of learning on a computer screen IN OFFICE. VP of sales was a good person, mid manager was a disaster, completely out of touch - the toxic one nobody liked. I wouldn’t recommend anybody working here, find a place that values your skills and will respect you. My tenure was very short here because of all reasons listed above. It just wasn’t worth sticking out. Remember, it’s a niche market, no one wants/ cares about billboards except for big spenders and lawyers. This industry is not fun.

Unprofessional, slimy, hypocritical, unethical treatment of employees. Favoritism, that also depends on the day. Everyone is disposable here. Local manager fired 2 people within her 1st month around the holidays to hire a family member. Made some employees work late while partying with other of her direct reports.
