You’ll call the same recycled leads that have been hit once a month for 10 years. Can be soul crushing.
The company will take care of you, though. PIPs are generous (exceed 60% of a quarter’s quota and you’re safe) and the benefits are truly top notch.
“Uncapped commissions” is only kinda true, it’s also kinda a blatant lie. For example:
Close a plumber for a monthly budget of $500, that’s about a $3k valued deal.
Close a plumber for a $2,000 monthly budget? Sorry, that’s also a $3k deal.
The commission you’re paid is uncapped, but you earn “points” for each deal you close and those points convert into commission. The number of points you can earn per-deal is capped.
You can sell into businesses with up to 10 locations. Sell 3 of those 10, you can get a $10k deal! Sell all 10? Think it’s a $30k deal? Nope, a $10k deal. Then your manager will tell you to grind harder.
