Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee VMware has very little sales DNA. It is bloated with overall poor sales leadership. Culture is inclusive and accepting, but lacks the fire to annihilate competition.
Compensation has two caps. First, there is a single deal cap. God forbid you blow out your number with one large strategic deal, they will cap you at 300% of your variable pay. If you end up doing more than 1 large deal, there is a hard cap of 500%.
Senior leadership only care about themselves. They do not represent nor do they fight for their people. They focus on optics and opportunity hygiene in sales force singularly. This can be a good thing, as even bad reps can play the optics and politics game and stay here a long time. Browse Other Reviews
