Back to ReviewsFormer Employee If you're fresh out of college, may be an ok job. The product is phenomenal, and CSS has to be one of the most innovative orgs in tech. That said, the entire Otter org was the definition of a circus. Outside of a good product, there was nothing else I'd consider good related to the company. It's a sweat shop that pays what you'd expect to earn in an actual sweatshop. Example for you to make your own assessment: one Friday in late December the entire sales org was pacing behind their meeting set goal, so the VP of Sales sent a slack to the front line manager group demanding the managers and all their reps get on the Zoom link that was sent out to get on video and start cold calling to set appointments - mind you, this was at 4 PM, close to Christmas.... Mom and Pop restaurant owners aren't likely going to be too enthused you're calling on a Friday at 4 PM during one of their peak seasons, but I'm sure the reps who got on that Zoom call were very productive and were making a lot of honest dials! Run from here.
