As of 2023, product strategy now changes every six months (on purpose). Fine, but it means reps aren’t making money anymore. In Q4, highest-performing AE closed ~$270K in deals and the team did so badly overall that they fired 50% of reps. Leadership lies. Product doesn’t work. Culture of fear.

Overall they miss the mark. They refuse to layer people which has inevitably led to leadership who are underqualified and care more about you genuflecting and drinking the kool aid than actual success and realisitic goals. Tropic is a great company. They have some work to do to figure out the best possible sales motion but they have the leadership in place to figure it out. I have no doubt they will succeed as a business
