There is definitely opportunity there, but it is a significant grind. It never stops. Very empathic people or people that deeply care, especially about customers, may find that the culture is simply to consumptive, driven to sell more, with very little focus on customer problems, concerns, or general well-being. Toast is a good company. Though their SMB Sales team is a sweat-shop. You will be praised for performing and fired as quickly as a shrug if you don’t. Very little professional development. Used car salesmen will do very well here. If you do well, things are fine if you luck out with one of the nice managers.
