The compensation structure is competitive and ThoughtSpot are in a unique opportunity at the moment where it's challenging leaders in the space. If the team can capitalise on the opportunity ahead it will be really interesting to see where it can go. There are external challengers, which make the market more saturated, so you have to be a strong seller to do well, but if you get it right then it could be really lucrative.
The marketing function has significantly improved since I joined, but the company needs to increase budgets in order to create a higher inbound lead motion. It is predominantly outbound for the sales team at the moment.
