In 9 years my overall experience has been positive. In the past 2 years there has been a change in leadership in the Maryland market and the culture has become rotten from the top down. Sales are asked to do way too many non revenue driving tasks and it takes away from time to sell and consult with your clients.

My experience was okay, the compensation was terrible and the opportunities for advancement are only for those hired by suppliers in college.

There is not much room for growth, especially if you start off on a higher billing route. Commission is capped and unless you're hired at a higher base salary, the potential for an annual raise is capped as well.
