I believe the tool is a fantastic, powerful, and needed solution in the Gaming industry. Given it's trailblazing a totally new approach to building games, it's taking the company time to find product-market. The challenge here is, "How do you effectively sell something that in people's minds doesn't exist as an option?" Personally, I really enjoyed this aspect of this position. It requires you to really put your best foot forward as a Salesperson and to be creative, strategic, thoughtful, and intentional! I would have liked to see more women, people of color, and overall diversity on the Sales team. There were also few opportunities to share feedback. Since the Sales department was just being built, there was no specificity on ramp quota. In my time there, there was no practical feedback on how you were doing as an AE or how you could improve. Something I was surprised to find: there was very limited cross-vertical communication, and we were in fact discouraged from it "to not take their time away from other people's jobs". I hope they gradually shift away from this approach, as I've known cross-functional sharing to foster company unity & effectiveness
