This was a great work environment before the Salesforce acquisition. However, it was very difficult to hit quota before and after it. Now, the culture has taken a hit (leadership may improve now that CEO is from Salesforce), but morale is so low and too many folks feel negative and disengaged. All that said, they pay really well on the base (hitting OTE is impossible these days). Slack = golden handcuffs, with an asterisk on your ability to hit quota.

Slack is a great product, but a very challenging sell in this environment. And success is dictated by the book of business you're given. Some are dealt a much better hand than others.

The product is struggling against Teams. It doesn't matter how good you are, it only matters if you get the right account at the right time. Talent doesn't matter, anyone could do this position but its like gambling, you take a chance on getting no opportunity or a great opportunity.
