The training, if you can call it that, was an absolute circus. Forget about learning from managers or experienced SDRs – nope, we got to do role-plays with AI. Yes, because nothing says "effective training" like pretending to sell to a glorified chatbot.
The product? Imagine trying to explain rocket science without any training – that’s how it felt. I’ve excelled in other SDR roles, but this one made me question if I even belong in sales. I felt like a fish trying to climb a tree.
And the leads? Pure garbage. I spent my days calling numbers that might as well have been from a phone book in a ghost town. Out of 300 accounts, maybe 5% were usable.
