What are the common career progression opportunities for sales professionals at ServiceTitan?

If you start as an SDR, there is no progression. Hope you string together enough good months to pad your resume and get hired as an SDR at a place that is harder to get hired, but more likely to promote.

However, quota achievement for SDRs here is abysmal.

Can't speak for AEs or other roles.

There are none. As a former employee and still friends with a lot of their current and former staff members, the play favoritism so much over there it’s a joke.  They promote people who have an ever even hit monthly goal while their superstars are put on PiPs for missing one monthly goal

Don't work here, you will likely get fired in 3 months after ramp up. 22 people got hired with me and we are down to 8 and soon to be 6.

Depends on where you're starting. If you start in the SDR Org it's non-existent, almost impossible to make it out within a reasonable amount of time or without being PIP'ed out.

If you start on the AE side or Customer Success it's a lot different. ServiceTitan is great outside of the SDR Org for the most part.

Probably the worst place you can work if your looking to progress in your sales career. If you have 0 sales experience then it may be a good place to start your career to help bolster your resume -- but that is all it will be.

I can answer this for the SDR org.

Currently, the SDR position is basically a dead end. Upward mobility is a joke. I've watched our top 1% performers have their promotions shut down time and time again. There is no bridge program for SDRs to move to a closing position. Upward mobility in ServiceTitan's XDR org is a thing of the past.

I was an SDR for 7 months and a top performer. I was told I needed to be in seat for 2 years before being promoted, despite my success. I appreciate that they let me know upfront. I decided to leave, and they were supportive.

When i worked there if you were an SDR it was impossible to be promoted to AE. Several people quit that were high performers so they had to begin allowing a promotion, but it will never be directly into AE. They force SDRs to spend 3-4 years doing pipe gen before allowing them to level up unless you're willing to join the PAM team, which most do. As for other roles I can't speak from personal experience but it's mostly a place where people who started before the company's C series protect their roles and prevent anyone who could replace them from rising.
