Samsara is past its prime. We used to have amazing earning potential and plenty of greenfield to sell into. Now comp is designed for only 50% of reps to hit, quotas keep rising and accelerators are only achieved by a select few. Accounts have been heavily worked and inbound is almost non-existent. Would definitely avoid mid-market and SMB/commercial, the next stage of growth for the company is only in enterprise and majors

CML AE: you wear a lot of hats in this role such as being an AE, account manager, onboarding/implementing, support, prospecting, demoing, closing, etc. but there is money to be made (I'm on track to hit $175k OTE). Its a grind for sure but once you find your find your rhythm it gets real fun and you get paid for any hours worked over 40 a week!
