My overall experience in selling marketing cloud was below satisfactory. The team selling culture isn’t for everyone so if you like running your deals without cross product team involvement I would consider seeking other opportunities

Overall tenure was mainly positive, like any organizations there are ongoing issues and more recent ones as well given the current climate. TBH what I know now - would I do it again? Yes, 100% over - awesome solution suite, awesome people, and really fun sales culture.

Salesforce used to be a great place to work, where you felt valued and where you were compensated for your efforts. It used to have a strong culture that rewarded top performers. That drastically changed in 2023 after the layoffs. The culture is dead. The trust is gone. Salesforce has taken a turn for the worse. Managers are all people who sold when Salesforce was taking off and expect their AEs to perform at a similar rate even though territories are spread extremely thin.
