Current Employee My overall experience is great. It's a good company, strong culture, frequent acquisitions so you can always sell something new. They do not reward loyalty. I've been at the company 4 years as a top performer in every role and external hires are often making much more than I am. Salesforce's internal policy for compensation reviews for internal promotes stems from their self-described "equity policy" where everyone starts out at the same pay level. Unless of course, you are an external candidate, where that somehow does not apply. Many people will boomerang not once, but even two to three times to skip this equity nonsense and matriculate through the ranks.
