Which divisions, regions, or business units may be more or most advantageous to sell for and why?

Can't see a question but I'll give some insight into the org structure.

Sales and Sales Development role up into the CRO. On the AE side the segments are Emerging (0-250 employees), Commercial (251-750 employees), Mid-Market (751-2000 employees), and Enterprise (2001+ employees). Each AE segment has SDR support other than the Emerging segment. For the Commercial segment, there is no AE:SDR alignment as meetings are round-robined. For Mid-Market and Enterprise, there is very close AE:SDR alignment. The AE's of each segment report into an AE director for that segment that will report into a VP of Sales. On the Sales Development side, you have the SDRs broken out into teams based on their market segment. The SDRs report into a manager who roles up to the SDR Director that roles into senior sales leadership somewhere (it changed so much- at one time had it reporting into operations which made no sense and the org suffered tremendously for it).

It’s not so much business units/divisions but typical EMEA vs US and  smb vs enterprise/strategic. Your success will be wholly dependent on how well your manager is at getting you ICP accounts. Only about 10% of the org has access to these. I wouldn’t join unless that was confirmed, personally.
