We’ve gone through some turbulent times with getting a new CSO, losing that CSO, and multiple different restructures that have changed all of our Books of Business. Change is common at Semrush.

Tenured sellers at Semrush do very well. Quota has doubled since 2023 and the compensation plan has changed drastically to protect the company vs sellers. The product is great, and after year+ you can begin to sell some larger deals. The MM job description is not accurate, however. You end up doing CSM, technical AM, and SE work.
